  • How many people are in a class?
    My regular classes have a maximum of 12 people for each class. Teens pilates the maximum is 16 people. Post-natal classes are a maximum of 10 (each mum is free to bring along their baby).
  • What should I bring with me to your classes?
    If you have our own mat please bring it with you, otherwise I provide mats that you can use. Wear comfortable clothes and non-slip socks or going bare foot is fine too. Finally bring a water bottle and a towel for wiping off sweat.
  • Do you cater for different levels of pilates in your classes?
    Classes are all for mixed abilities, therefore are ideal for the whole range from complete beginners up to more experienced clients.
  • How much previous experience do I need in pilates?
    No previous experience is necessary. The classes are for a mixed range of abilities so can also cater for somebody who has never done pilates before.
  • I have a medical condition, are you able to provide adjustments to exercises to suit me?"
    Each of the mat exercises have various levels that you can choose from and can also be modified if you have certain orthopaedic issues
  • How much practise should I be doing at home?
    Ideally you should try and practise some of the exercises at home at least 2 times a week. I can also email you any exercises you would like to practise at home.
  • Is there anything I can do to help build my strength?
    To build your strength at home, practise some of the pilates strengthening exercises. In addition it is a good idea to do some physical activity that raises your heart rate once or twice a week e.g. fast walking or jogging.
  • What happens if I miss a class that I've booked in for?
    If you miss a class you can try to attend any other classes that I have space in during the same week. Block payments can be carried over to the next term if not used.
  • How do I pay for the classes?
    You can pay either in cash or bank transfer. Contact me or let me know in class if you would like to pay by bank transfer and I can give you my details.
  • How far in advance can I book sessions?
    Classes can be booked up to 6 months in advance.
  • How many classes can I book at once?
    Please do not book more than 12 weeks of classes in total, keeping in mind others who may also want to join the classes, thank you!
